Civil society and politics – how can they interact so that no one is left behind

01:30 PM Day 2

Civil society organizations cannot change society on their own. The decisions to and ensure that no one is left behind in a society must be made by politicians, who are all members of political parties. How can development organisations and political parties interact? How do we get the politicians to listen? In this panel you will meet two development organisations, that are linked to political parties. This session will include participation by a representative from the Finnish Social Democratic Party, that has used Agenda 2030 as the basis for its new Party Program.
